I have long dreamed of building a custom YakShack along the waters edge designed to take advantage of its natural surroundings. I was inspired by Native American long houses found along the spits in the Tillamook and Nehalem Bays discovered by the first pioneers who settled the Oregon coast they referred to them as the canoe people. Working with original concepts created by renowned architect Robert Oshatz. These are a few of the conceptual renderings that I have created that incorporate Oshatz's ingenious modular concepts. ![]()
As I get farther along with this project I will post more images any thoughts or ideas on what you would like in a dream YakShack e-mail us at: YakShack@SneakyWhale.com
